Follow-up #1: Tried setting my uset r_buffer_page_size to 30 (had it set to 20 prior), then that started crashing when I load my save so I reduced it back to 20, but the save still crashes upon load. Nothing helpful in the logs, still throwing the same Access Violation (which is what led me to try and change the buffer side).
1 disable all mods. 2 play ETS2 (32-bit mode) when starting. 3 now you can enter the game successfully , then save the game. 4 exit and play it with normal mode, you can even enable all mods, it would not crash again. hope it will help you. 8 posts • Page 1 of 1. i guess you need to verify the game first. Steam Game Library -> right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 -> Properties -> Local Files and click on verify integraty of game files for some reason game cant find dlc schwarzmuller. check all DLC maybe you uninstall some. Hi all, i've been trying to get this game going since the last update but i can't get past the euro truck simulator loading screen animation. It gets about halfway through playing the logo and then crashes to desktop. I've reinstalled the game, removed and unsubscribed from all mods and deleted the game folder from my documents to give a fresh start but still no luck. This is also the same for
Delete the files "game.log.txt." and "game.crash.txt" The game will write a new game log each time you start the game. Add one mod - although that may entail more than one .scs file. TSM is a good start. Make sure you rename the map mod files to have a "_" at the start of filenames.
